MIRA will be holding a workshop session entitled ISO 26262 “Road vehicles – Functional safety” at the Embedded Masterclass, taking place on 27 June 2012 in Cambridge.
The workshop will consider all aspects of electronic system design including requirements for hardware probabilistic performance and to that end requires calculation of 3 specific metrics. Our functional safety experts will explain the terminology of hardware metrics and an interpretation by MIRA leading to an unambiguous method of calculating the performance of the electronic hardware.
During the day MIRA will also demonstrate the application of functional safety with simple examples.
