Safety Case for Automated Driving Deployments
A safety case is a structured body of evidence to support the safe deployment of an autonomous vehicle, they can be used for evidence in self certification of systems or to support discussions with regulators.
We are a world-leading independent consultancy in the preparation of Safety Cases for automated driving deployments, leading the UK Government’s CCAV guidance for Safety Cases for automated vehicle trials as well as being significant contributors to BSI & ISO standards.
Where objective safety acceptance thresholds aren’t available we provide independent safety assurance – identifying safety goals and safety performance indicators aligned to the behavioural competency and operational design domain of the system. We can then either collect or review Safety Evidence from tests in order to identify risks and specify mitigations or areas for further testing to provide more confidence in system performance.
