Government Recognition for MIRA’s Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) Capability
Defence Minister Peter Luff recently praised MIRA for the firm’s excellent contribution towards front-line ground vehicles in Afghanistan.
Speaking at the NDI (National Defence Industries) Conference in Bristol, Luff talked of how MIRA’s advanced defence vehicle engineering capability had successfully aided the work of Coalition forces in the region and thanked MIRA for continued support. The Defence Minister also recalled how he had witnessed one of MIRA’s defence vehicles in action and that he had been impressed by the versatility and robustness of the highly engineered platform.
Recognising the positive influence of MIRA’s defence vehicle capability, Peter Luff offered to support MIRA in selling its ground-breaking defence vehicle technologies to foreign buyers in conjunction with UKTI – a show of continued government support for MIRA’s international operations.
