Lecturer in System Security
He has joined CFTC in March 2020 to work on SECURE-CAV, an Innovate UK industrial funded project with Siemens which was an ambitious collaborative project that aims to improve the automotive safety and security; It concluded in the first on-chip and in-life monitoring solution of tomorrow’s connected and autonomous vehicles (CAVs).
Currently, Dr Hesamaldin Jadidbonab is a lecturer in System Security in the Centre for Future Transport and Cities (CFTC) at Coventry University, where he is leading the System Security Group in tooling and developing security-specific testbeds for automotive cybersecurity and autonomous vehicle research.
With over 12 years of experience in the field of automotive engineering, his research activity was mainly around the Cybersecurity, Powertrain, Calibration, and aftertreatment systems. Throughout his research career, he has been involved in a number of public and industrial funded projects, focusing on Proof of Concept for automotive applications, with the opportunity to work in a number of countries, including Germany, England, and Italy, in both academic and business sectors.
